CFD Based Analyses
The application of principles of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) for analysing and modelling the physical effects is becoming the newest industry trend. More and more number of clients are coming forward and are requesting use of such sophisticated tools as against the use of traditional mathematical correlations or empirical models. ECE thr-ough its knowledge centre in Pune, India and through associated leading technical institutes like IIT Gandhinag-ar, NIT Raipur, VIT Pune and MIT Pune is achieving new horizons in the field of CFD based analyses by prov-iding integrated services of software based modelling and physical validation through experimental analys-is. The different types of studies carried out using CFD based tools are Thermal Plume Dispersion Analysis, Fire-load and Forced Ventilation Calculations, Ship Collision Analysis, Dispersion Modelling, Flare Radiation Modelling, Helicopter Risk Assessment etc.
